That's when the little "oh..." usually happens.

One flight of stairs later and BAM!

Suddenly you're standing in this bright, open living space wondering why every townhome can't look like this. My kitchen isn't tucked into a corner apologizing for existing. She's front and center, and honestly...she knows she's gorgeous.

That oversized granite island isn't just another countertop. It's pancake breakfasts before soccer games. Birthday cupcakes covered in frosting. Holiday baking that somehow leaves flour everywhere. Charcuterie boards that disappear faster than you can refill them. It's the place where conversations start and somehow nobody ever leaves.

I've got stainless steel appliances, a gas range, abundant cabinetry and a walk-in pantry that's big enough to adopt your coffee maker, toaster, air fryer and every other countertop appliance you've collected over the years. They can all live happily behind closed doors while my gorgeous granite countertops get to do what they were born to do...gleam.

Just beyond the dining area, my covered deck overlooks the community and quickly becomes your favorite excuse to slow down. Morning coffee? Better out here. Dinner outside? Absolutely. Five quiet minutes before the rest of the world finds you? I won't tell.

Upstairs, all three bedrooms are tucked away together, along with the laundry room because somebody finally realized clean clothes shouldn't require a workout. My primary suite is ready to become your personal retreat with a spacious tiled shower and a double-sink vanity because sharing one sink before coffee has tested enough relationships already.

My covered patio turns one great room into an indoor-outdoor retreat. Enjoy your morning coffee outside, unwind after work with a good book, or simply leave the door open and let the fresh air become part of your everyday routine. Some homes have bonus rooms. I have bonus experiences.

Even coming home feels easier thanks to my built-in drop zone just inside the garage. Shoes, backpacks, purses, jackets and everyday clutter finally have somewhere to land besides the nearest chair.

Living in Apex means you're only minutes from Historic Downtown Apex, where local restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and community events make every weekend feel a little more exciting. Beaver Creek Commons makes errands easy, Sweetwater Town Center continues to grow with shopping and dining options, and Costco is close enough to justify buying enough snacks for an entire neighborhood.

Need to commute? NC-540 and US-64 place Cary, Raleigh, Research Triangle Park and the rest of the Triangle comfortably within reach.
