$1,775 in Cary?! Meet 413 New Kent Place, a Renovated First-Floor Condo With a Seriously Short Utility List

by Tamisha Lane

$1,775 in Cary?! Yes. And Wait Until You See What Comes With It. 👀

Hello there.

I’m 413 New Kent Place, and before we get properly acquainted, I feel like we should address the number that probably brought you here.

$1,775 per month.

In Cary, North Carolina.

For a completely renovated, first-floor condo with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

Still with me? Good. Because I haven't even gotten to my favorite part yet.

The only utilities you pay are electricity and internet.

WHAT?! 😂

I know.

Rent shopping has a funny way of turning into a math problem. You find a monthly rent that looks promising, and then water shows up. Sewer joins the conversation. Trash wants a seat at the table. Suddenly the number you started with isn't really the number you're living with.

I prefer to keep things simpler.

Electricity. Internet. Done.

And that is only the beginning.

I've Had a Glow-Up. A Real One. ✨

I'm not calling myself “updated” because somebody changed a light fixture and called it a renovation.

Take a look at me.

My interior has been completely renovated, with beautiful LVP flooring, crisp white cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, recessed lighting, crown molding and clean, modern finishes that make the entire space feel fresh.

And my kitchen?

Ohhhh, we're going to spend some time there.

That oversized peninsula gives you a fantastic amount of usable counter space. Morning coffee can happen there. Dinner prep can happen there. Your laptop will probably migrate there. Takeout absolutely belongs there.

And because my kitchen opens directly into the living area, everything feels connected without sacrificing function.

Then I Added a Fireplace. Because Cozy Still Matters. 🔥

My living room gives you plenty of room to actually settle in, and the fireplace creates a natural focal point without taking over the space.

Large windows bring in natural light and views of the greenery outside, while my neutral finishes make it easy to bring your own personality with you.

I'm polished.

But I'm still comfortable.

That's an important distinction.

First Floor Living Deserves More Appreciation

No staircase between you and your front door.

That's it.

That's the paragraph. 😂

But seriously, being a ground-floor condo in Cary changes the everyday experience. Grocery run? Easier. Moving day? Easier. Carrying something awkward to the car? Easier.

You simply come home.

Inside, you'll find two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, giving you a layout with real flexibility rather than a primary bedroom plus one tiny room everybody politely pretends is a bedroom.

You'll also have an in-unit washer and dryer, patio and exterior storage.

I've thought this through.

Now Let's Talk About Where I Live 📍

This might be one of my best features.

I'm tucked into a quiet, established Cary neighborhood, but I certainly haven't removed myself from civilization.

Quite the opposite.

Groceries, restaurants, coffee and shopping are all nearby. Trader Joe's is close, while Crossroads Plaza gives you a huge concentration of shopping, dining and everyday conveniences.

Want something a little more interesting than errands?

Fenton has brought an entirely different mix of restaurants, shopping and entertainment to Cary, while Downtown Cary continues to be one of the area's best places to spend an afternoon or evening.

And because I'm centrally positioned in Cary with convenient access to major Triangle routes, Raleigh and other parts of the Triangle remain within easy reach.

That's the beauty of my location.

You can go do all the things without having to come home to all the things.

When you're done, you come back to me.

Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable home. Exhale.

And About These Photos... 😏

You've probably noticed something.

There aren't many.

That's intentional.

Consider this my sneak peek.

You're getting a look at the renovated kitchen, open living spaces and a little glimpse of what I'm bringing to the rental market.

More photos are coming.

Bedrooms? Coming.

Bathrooms? Coming.

More of the details that make me worth seeing?

Definitely coming.

For now, I'm giving you just enough to understand why you may want to keep an eye on me.
